Donate

We are a nonprofit organization funded by charitable contributions and grants. Our work to enrich the lives of Routt County older adults would not be possible without generous support from our caring community.

All donations of $25 or higher will be acknowledged with a tax receipt letter.

Given a choice, older adults often prefer to stay in their community—and in most cases, in their own homes—for as long as possible. SOAR helps make that choice possible through the various programs and services we offer.

Our Clients Say It All

There’s no better way to hear about the direct impact of our programs and services than from our clients themselves. Hear what they have to say.

“As a participant and fan of SOAR for 13 years, I have attended activities 2 to 4 times a week. SOAR is a mainstay in my aging years. I made new friends which opened doors to a social aspect for me that I hadn’t explored in my earlier years.”

Karen L.

"Getting connected to your program has really helped. The meals are excellent, I depend on the rides and borrowing the shower chair made a huge difference. I can't tell you how much this means to me."

Doug

"I had a Dr's appointment today. In one year my cholesterol, my blood pressure and my weight have significantly improved. My Dr. took me off diabetes meds and decreased my heart meds. I am on top of the world right now. I attribute this to the wonderful meals from you guys (SOAR) and want to say thank you. God has blessed me."

Martha, Meals on Wheels recipient

"SOAR offers amazing fun programs, helpful information for health and positive, unbiased people caring and giving us their time and joining us in all the activities. Blessings and gratitude to all for making a happy place for aging well."

Karen L.

"SOAR has made a huge, wonderful, good time in my life. It’s made me realize we are loved and taken care of in this wonderful community. And the food is amazing!"
