Eat & Greet Lunches

SOAR is the sole provider of congregate meals in Routt County. We provide freshly prepared, warm, nutritional meals at three meal sites with service four days per week in Steamboat, two days per week in Hayden, and three days per week in South Routt. We have three dining rooms in Routt County, each serving on a different schedule. Meal reservations for all sites are required at least 24 hours in advance to ensure our cooks have adequate food prepared.

Participants aged 60 and older can use the service free of charge, with a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal. Guests under 60 are welcome with a $17.80 guest fee.

Older adults need access to affordable, quality food. Eating well is vital at any age, and nutrition plays an important role in the healing process and in maintaining health. Health issues, physical limitations, or financial hardship can make it difficult for many older adults to get the nutrition they need. Our program is here to encourage Routt County older adults to remain independent and healthy.
