How Can You Help?
The rising cost of food and the dependence on the meals we serve are critical for so many local seniors.
SOAR serves over 100 meals per day throughout Routt County, and the cost for us to produce a meal is approximately $14.00. SOAR does not charge a fee for our meal participants and simply suggests participants contribute $3.00 per meal. Some participants can make this contribution, but not all.
We are seeking partners to sponsor a day of meals for 100 local seniors. Your partnership will cover meals at the meal sites and meals delivered to older adults in their homes. Please consider donating $1,400 to sponsor one day of meals for 100 Routt County older adults. Partners will be recognized at each meal site and on the meals delivered that day, as well as in our monthly newsletter, website, and social media.
